Electroacupuncture

In electroacupuncture (EA), thin acupuncture needles are inserted into specific points on the body, just like in traditional acupuncture. However, these needles are then attached to an electroacupuncture machine, which delivers a controlled electric current to the needles.

Three main benefits of Electroacupuncture

Pain control

EA is more effective than traditional acupuncture for pain relief. Electrical stimulation can help to alleviate various types of pain, including chronic pain and musculoskeletal discomfort.

Muscle Relaxation

It may be particularly beneficial for relaxing tense muscles, reducing muscle spasms, and promoting circulation, making it suitable for conditions like fibromyalgia or sports injuries.

Neuropathy Treatment

Can treat some Nerve dysfunctions, or nerve damage. For example partial loss of sensor or motor functions after certain diseases.

Patients Reviews

Electroacupuncture Victoria
It is not painful at all. It felt like a tingling sensation in the needling area at the beginning. With time, I realized I did not feel anything and asked to increase the current. It really helped with my hip pain.

I suffer from partial numbness in my lower arm. With electroacupuncture, I can feel my arm muscles are working again! I did not feel any discomfort during the procedure. Olya has a very gentle style of needling.

I could not sleep because of my carpal tunnel syndrome pain. I have had 7 sessions with electroacupuncture so far, no more pain at night and can sleep. The pain is back only if I exhaust my hand carrying heavy stuff. That is so wonderful that I can take my pain under control.
